Goal:

To award a minimum scholarship amount of $1,500 per semester to each approved applicant (up to 8 scholarships per year). Actual dollar amount will be determined by available funds and number of qualified applicants. (GPCSA Executive Board shall determine and certify annually before December 31 of each year the number of scholarships and/or amount which may be awarded each year.)

Requirements:

1. Have a career professional goal in the fields of construction management, construction related engineering, or architecture.
2. Must be a high school graduate and/or actively enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college, junior college, or vocational trade school pursuing a degree that contributes to the advancement of the Greater Peoria construction industry.
3. Have a cumulative minimum grade point average of 2.5 (4.0 scale).
4. Complete the online application.
5. Submit a video or essay explaining the following:
   • Career goal(s).
   • What events have you experienced in your life that have helped you make the decision to pursue a career in construction.
   • Where you plan on attending school.
   • Why you chose to apply for this scholarship.
6. DEADLINE – Annually on March 31st.

• Selected candidates will be asked to attend one GPCSA Quarterly Board Meeting.
